All his life Huffman loved snow.  When it snowed, he’d go outside to feel how hard it’s coming down.  He would stick his hand in the snow and measure it.  He would shovel the snow a few times during the snowstorm; the deeper the better.  Huffman would wake up during the night to check the snow.  When the snow was real deep Huffman knew there was not going to be any school.  He would come upstairs in his home in Melody Woods and wake his kids up yelling, “holy snowball, there’s no school tomorrow!”  Sometimes snowballs would go flying.  Frankie remembers dad throwing a snowball at her after she responded with her voice so he could tune in on his target.  She threw a snowball back at him only to hit a closed door.
