David L Huffman and his younger brother, Ray, ordered a 6’ hoagie on 2/6/1978, one week prior to their mother Helen’s death in Delaware on 2/13/1978. David and Ray never anticipated their mom would die when they ordered a 6’ hoagie to be picked up on 2/13/1978. Their mom died earlier that day at approximately 3:00 am. Their mom, Helen lived in David’s home with his former wife, Sherri and children for a year prior to her death. Mother Helen was sick for some time as a result of diabetes; however, her death was not expected on that day. The 6’ hoagie was needed to feed the other brothers and sisters families and friends that came to pay their respects. Mother’s 6’ hoagie fed everyone; how did she know?
